AHEAD Achieves AWS Storage Competency Status

AHEAD, a cloud strategy, design and managed services provider, has announced that it has achieved the Amazon Web Services Storage Competency status, a distinction that it believes will help customers achieve their storage goals on AWS.

An AWS Partner Network member, this achievement will help AHEAD further its efforts to help enterprise customers create and apply AWS storage solutions in areas ranging from Backup & Recovery, Primary Storage, Archive, and Business Continuance/Disaster Recovery.

Its solutions have already been put to use by companies like Domino’s Pizza and Hagerty Insurance for data recovery backup and assistance.

AHEAD CTO Eric Kaplan:

“AHEAD combines our consultative approach, deep partner ecosystem, and broad array of storage services offered by AWS to meet the financial and technical needs of our clients across a variety of different use cases.”

According to the company, the AWS Cloud is enabling scalable, flexible and cost-effective solution for companies of all sizes — from startups to global enterprises. And the AWS Partner Competency Program helps customers identify Consulting and APN partners that offer deep industry experience and expertise.

APN Partners, to receive the designation, must possess expertise in both AWS and storage technologies, and this is where AHEAD has been able to seamlessly deliver solutions designed for the AWS cloud environment.
