Senior Platform Engineer - London - c£70K

My client is a leading global consultancy looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to focus on delivering highly available, scalable enterprise solutions on IAAS/PAAS platforms to their respective clients.

The Role

Your work will transform businesses by actively working with clients on IaaS, PaaS, SaaS solution strategies, designs, and delivery programmes. You will implement and maintain platforms and services in line with client needs and constraints as well as create and enhance design standards and patterns for infrastructure and system components.

Requirements

As my client works with a range of clients and projects, a breadth and depth of knowledge across all platform and site reliability engineering disciplines would be beneficial OR a willingness and ability to learn and adapt.

You will be a good fit for this role if you have the following:

• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Experience with Hudson, Jenkins, or Concourse
• Knowledge of Backend Infrastructure and Security
• Scripting and/or Programming skills using languages such as Ruby, Python, Go or Java.
• Experience with Ansible, Chef or Salt
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm or Openshift
