North America (NA) Partner Manager for Amazon Web Services (AWS)

The Role:

We are looking for our next team member to drive the consumption and sell-through of AMD EPYC based Instances on AWS EC2. This "Sales Out" position will work closely with AWS Partner Organization to help build and grow the relationships within the Amazon Partner Network including channel and key ISV's partners. They will collaborate with our internal team of Partner Development Managers, BDE's including FAEs, Business Unit leaders, Cloud Marketing Managers, and Channel Cloud Specialist to accelerate and scale our AWS business through strategic partners.

The Person:

  • Experience working with Public Cloud providers, sales team, channel, and/or marketing teams to build and deploy training, sales tools, incentive programs and joint GTM strategies
  • An understanding of the data-center solutions and knowledge of sales cycle and motion for Commercial Customers choosing cloud solutions
  • Current experience of co-selling with large accounts to end customers as well as the partner network (ie. GSIs, MSPs)
  • Proven skill of demonstrating data into your decision-making process for investments and communicating progress and updates on the state of the business
  • Strong organization, planning, communication, and teamwork skills and an ability to support globally as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and work with the AMD and AWS teams to develop and execute channel and ISV partner activities
  • GTM planning and execution through NA activities to drive consumption and end-customer demand and help identify and expand relationships with key partners at AWS
  • Work with NA team members to drive marketing and sales activities and work strategically to manage planning and execution of partnerships
  • The ultimate goal is to increase the footprint of AMD share in the commercial market and drive value to Amazon.

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven global sales and marketing in the tech industry, building sales strategies, GTM planning, and executing programs
  • Experience with Public Cloud companies is a PLUS!
  • Working experience with Amazon/AWS a PLUS!

Academic Credentials:

University or four-year college degree in Business or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience


Seattle, Santa Clara or Austin based preferred, but would consider strong candidates near major US city airport.
