What You Will Do :
As an ELT /ETL – AWS Glue (2+ years required) and Informatica or Oracle ODI Architect, you’ll help lead the architecture, design, development and implementation of the data extractions, transformations and load procedures including analysis of existing source systems and data sources, operations and maintenance and business process reengineering projects, as well testing and release management.
You will help lead our clients and the project team through a structured process to analyze, test, validate and review the solutions being implemented. Define and execute on a robust plan to ensure all client requirements are met, while pushing the team to continuously innovate and streamline the data quality assurance/testing process. Our professionals help our clients transform their business processes, improve internal controls, improve efficiency of operations, increase transparency and performance management, and to comply with Federal laws and regulations. The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals that are willing to architect and develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Project members are provided the opportunity to interact with our clients' senior management, as well as the opportunity to enhance their skills in the area of technical competency, business development, client service and people development.
What You Will Need :
The contractual requirements for this position require the candidate to be a US Citizen.
The successful candidate will have proven experience architecting, implementing, and supporting AWS Glue and Informatica ETL or Oracle ODI system integrations, data warehouses / Lakes and reporting solutions and support data analysis functions for commercial entities and Federal agencies. The candidate shall design, supervise, and lead the development of the AWS Glue and Informatica or Oracle ODI components and support process improvement recommendations and implementation to enterprise systems and functions. Specifically, the following skills and experiences are requested:
Minimum Years of Experience: Experience of 8 or more years is required with experience with AWS Glue (2+ years required) and Informatica or Oracle ODI ETL tools and procedures, business process review, testing and data quality assurance activities
Ability to offer architecture and design insights based on experience and through functional business process analysis, supporting ETL/ELT initiatives within the federal civilian or commercial sector
Apply a structured quality assurance methodology towards complex projects. Oversee quality assurance and testing of the business processes and solutions, managing, and ensuring testing milestones are achieved as per the project timeline
Responsible for development and maintenance of assigned enterprise architecture project and takes project from planning through final delivery. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services
Provides technical and analytical guidance for enterprise architecture. Recommend data integration solutions and execute on the ELT /ETL toolsets
Possesses extensive knowledge of and hands‐on experience with AWS Glue (2+ years required) and Informatica or Oracle ODI ETL tools
Evaluate and test software applications, compile data and produce relevant reports
Overseeing implementation of required hardware and software components for approved applications, coordination tests of the application system for proper performance (Functional understanding)
Lead project and task owners and ensure that cohesive progression in testing standards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including presentation skills)
Experience and comfort with MS Excel and other MS Office products
Aggregate and synthesize data from authoritative systems into metrics and analytics
Ability to quickly comprehend complexity and convey findings in concise, well-written narratives
Public Trust clearable
Hold a four-year degree from an accredited college or university
Professional Certification: AWS Glue
What Would Be Nice To Have :
Experience with AWS Cloud toolsets including Amazon S3 Data Lake, AWS Pipeline, Amazon Redshift, AWS Lamdba, Amazon CloudWatch and MuleSoft is a plus
Experience working in Federal environment
Experience utilizing an issue tracking software such as JIRA
Understanding of Financial and HR business processes preferred
Compensation may vary based on education, skills, experience and location.
This is an exempt level role that may require more than 40 hours of work per week.
The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
Selected Candidate must be able to work Eastern Standard Hours.
US Citizenship is contractually required for this position
The annual salary range for this position is $109,400.00-$218,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
